WELCOME

The Fraternal Order of Police was founded in 1915 by two police officers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today it is the largest police organization in the world with over 270,000 members. The FOP continuously lobbies Washington and presents the needs of law enforcement to Congress. The FOP is the sponsor of the annual Peace Officers' Memorial Service which is held every May in front of the United States Capitol.

The Central New York Lodge was formed in 1993 to promote the spirit of cooperation among local law enforcement. It was later named in memory of the late John Dillon due to his overwhelming commitment to law enforcement. Our lodge consists of representatives from nearly every federal, state and local agency within Central New York.

Active memberships are open to any full-time and retired law enforcement professional. Associate memberships are available to other qualified individuals. Annual dues are $30 for the calander year. To download an application form click here.
