WELCOME
The Fraternal Order of Police was founded in 1915 by two police
officers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today it is the largest police
organization in the world with over 270,000 members. The FOP continuously
lobbies Washington and presents the needs of law enforcement to
Congress. The FOP is the sponsor of the annual Peace Officers' Memorial
Service which is held every May in front of the United States Capitol.
The Central New York Lodge was formed in 1993 to promote the spirit
of cooperation among local law enforcement. It was later named in
memory of the late John Dillon due to his overwhelming commitment
to law enforcement. Our lodge consists of representatives from nearly
every federal, state and local agency within Central New York.
Active memberships are open to any full-time and retired law enforcement
professional. Associate memberships are available to other qualified
individuals. Annual dues are $30 for the calander year. To
